Answer» Hello,
On a fresh/new windows 7 install (home premium, 64 bit) I am unable to log in as a standard user. More accurately, as soon as I login, Welcome is displayed, followed immediatley by Logging Off.
When I switched the standard user to administrator, it worked fine. When I switched back, no luck . I also tried creating a new standard user, no luck either.
I am not new to registry editting; but this ARTICLE was no help : HTTP://support.microsoft.com/kb/929825/en-us The KEYS were fine, they required no changing (they were already configured CORRECTLY and pointing towards userinit.exe).
I do not WANT to reinstall windows, since I already installed all the drivers and the programs I had on the previous system, as well as the user files. In addition, I already configured my SSD/HDD (OS on SSD, User files, Default install location, and User folders on HDD).
Anything have a solution for this? I REALLY dont want to reinstall again Diatech
