Answer» on start up my laptop RUNNING windows 2000 does two annoying things: 1) it automatically opens the 'my documents' folder
2) i get a MESSAGE warning "can not find c:\logon.exe
doesn't seem to affect much, but i have to close both before i can get on with things.
any suggestions?
thanksThese are both symptomatic of malware infection; the first being caused by the DlDer trojan, the second by the improper removal of an SDBot worm variant. Carry out the procedures listed in this post and post a Hijackthis logfile here when done. If possible, zip the logfile and attach it rather than post it.o.k. i'll try that. thanksNTLDR:

Hope you zap that nasty code!
