Hello Everyone!

Could someone take a look at my start-up programs and tell me which ones I can do away with on start-up... some I want to keep like java and messenger. But some I am not sure what they do and if I need them left in the start-up. Takes forever to boot up and I know alot of it is norton! so was just wondering if any could be disabled? thanks in advance for your help! system info below and then the start-up copy!!

Uninstall all previous versions of Java through Add\Remove.

In HJT checkmark following ENTRIES, couple of fixes, and unnecessary startups (programs themselves will be SAFE):
- O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
- O4 - HKLM\..\RUN: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
- O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MsnMsgr] "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe" /BACKGROUND
- O4 - Global Startup: Compaq Connections.lnk = C:\Program Files\Compaq Connections\6750491\Program\Compaq Connections.exe
- O4 - Global Startup: HP Digital Imaging Monitor.lnk = C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exe
- O4 - Global Startup: HP Image Zone Fast Start.lnk = C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqthb08.exe
Click "Fix checked" button, and you're done.
