Answer» How do I remove a PROGRAM from the startup menu? I don't WANT it to start automatically every time I start my computer. Thanks.Open Windows Explorer... Travel to Docs and Settings/User/Start Menu/Programs/Startup.... Right clik and delete any APPS you don't want loading.I looked here and the program that starts up automatically when starting my computer is not here. The program that is starting up is Yahoo Messenger. I don't want it starting EVERYTIME I reboot. Is there somewhere else to look? Something else I need to do?
Thanks for the advice.try looking for a settings tab on the messenger and see if you can do it there. I had to do on another computer which had aim but it's pretty much the same thing there should be a place where you can uncheck so that it won't start at start upFound it!! ThanksOn of my favorites.
