(such as apps u never really use, or apps that can start up when u simply click on them. Ex. quicktime player automatically starts up when u turn ur comp on, it does not need to do this because u can start it up simply by clicking it.) with msconfig things sometimes comeback! thats true. u have to disable automatic startup from the program itself sometimes.Get StartupCPL from Mike Lin's website patio. 8-)Try removing some programs from the Startup folder and then adding them to the Windows Task Scheduler: Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Scheduled Tasks In the Scheduled Tasks window, add new tasks and configure them to start after the computer has be idle for the number of MINUTES you want.
