i have the same problem on my laptop sony vaio...
i can't do nothing with it, the windows not start, my com only restart.
i can't format because the c: partition not delet..the com says: C: partion cant daleted or an error occurred......
all i want is to start my laptop because i have a lot of value thing on partition D:
the save mode not work, start with shift not work, f12 conect with net not work..
have any idea or any code any way to start the com?STOP 0x000000ED

You NEED to remind us we version of Windows you're using and information about the Sony laptop. Did you drop it?
Above is the message you indicate There is something wrong with the hard drive. Have you recently done any work on the hard drive?
With the few details we would recommend that you get someone to help you make a backup COPY of your hard drive using another computer. It MEANS the hard drive will have to be removed from your laptop and connected to a desktop MACHINE as a secondary drive. Sometimes this is called setting the drive as a slave. Would you like to see a tutorial about this?
