If so try a REPAIR install:

some background I have a compaq presario3000 i am running windows xp and now since i did the steps as I was told am running the s2

this error came unexpected and is very frustrating i can't go into safe mode again because the computer shuts off...it goes so quickly to the error message that you can't see it unless after pressing F8 i state do not auto restart but that only LASTS once.

PLEASEEEE help I am so frustrated
