Answer» When starting windows 98, i get this message, While initializing device IOS: Error: An I/O subsystem driver failed to load. Either a file in the ./iosubsys subdirectory is corrupt, or the SYSTEM is low on memory. The kicker i lost the window 98 DISKS can i fix this problem. After getting the message the computer stalls and stays IF THERE IS ANY HOPE FOR ME PLEASE RESPOND BRENT.....Well , you'd better go and beg, borrow or steal one ...lol "The kicker i lost the window 98 disks" ....... Can you reboot in the safe mode ? Oh and by the way .......your licence to use a pc is under suspension until you recover the lost O/S disk. dl65
