the thing you are right-clicking on is quite clearly a folder, not a file.

well that was a very helpful answer...im clearly not a "genius" like u. I turn on my pc and it works...thats all i no. I am struggling here to understand what to do so forgive me plz if i appear computer illiterate, its because i am.Quote from: Allan on June 28, 2011, 02:30:55 PM
Burn it to a cd using a dedicated .iso burning utility (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm), make sure the cd drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, then boot to the newly created cd and RUN the utility.

Bios? i have nvr been in there and from what i understand some 1 who knows nothing about these THINGS should not go into the Bios. Do i have to?The ISO file is likely inside the folder. You don't have the option to view file extensions enabled, but it should appear as a "disc image" or something as the Type.

Reading back along all your posts, it sort of looks like an overheating issue. How much dust has made it's home in the case?

To boot from the CD the CD-Drive will need to be above the HD in the boot order. It MIGHT already be there. Allan's advice entails double-checking that option to make sure it is.Quote from: BC_Programmer on June 28, 2011, 09:38:28 PM
