Answer» I have superantispyware installed on my computer with( WINDOWS 7) Os. Superantispyware is prompting for a update when I click on it I get this error message.....The update must be done from an account with administator privileges.
My question is ... Can someone WALK me Thur the process of getting administrative privileges for WINDOWS 7. With a HUMBLE thank you.Are you logged in as administrator? If so, download this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/ . Then right-click on the SuperAntiSpyware folder and take ownership. Then right-click on the SuperAntiSpyware ICON and open as admin. Let's see if that works. For some reason Windows 7 can be a little FINICKY with permissions.Wow, that WORKED..... now Do I need to delete that take ownership file? No, leave it there. It will be useful in the future.Ok thank you so much, Now let me get this strait, I can right click on any program like malwarebytes superantispyware so on and get administrator rights correct? It will allow you to take ownership of the file or folder, yes.Thank you Allen...... your really a cool person. No PROBLEM.
