Answer» No idea why, but i've been getting this message on startup:
The Instruction at "0x77c47e7d" referenced MEMORY at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
Any idea how to fix this? I've noticed when i click ok or cancel that certain services are stopped, generally internet and ROUTING services.
Thanks to all who help.Windows version...EXACT error, and at what POINT of booting it happens.I'm on XP MCE SP2. That is the exact message i get. I've managed to stop it coming up by disabling the Routing and Remote Access Service, but i'd STILL rather find out whats causing it.
Thanks again If you have a lot of time: http://www.google.com/search?btnG=Google+Search&q=svchost+error
