Answer» Hi,I am using a HP G6000 laptop which has a 1.7GHz processor;2GB RAM and 32 bit Operating systemWindows 7 Profesional.McAfee Total Protection.My problem started YESTERDAY when I was installing a program called Freefileopener_553.It failed to install properly and I got a McAfee warning that it had detected a Trojan "Generic EVX!Q" and instructed me to reboot which I did.To be on the safe side I decided to do a System Restore.But it failed to restore and I got the following error message."System Restore failed to extract the original COPY of the directory from the restore point. Source %SystemRoot%\Registration Destination ComPlusStaging".I have tried going back to previous restore points but STILL get the same error message.Can you possibly help?
