Boot from this and get yourself to the recovery console screen.

Type in:
copy X:\i386\ntoskrnl.exe Y:\

where X is the disc drive letter and Y is your root drive.plz could you put slightly clearer constructions like how to get to the recovery console screen and stuff caus i'm not too good with computers....

Be very specific about your new computer.

Is it actually new or new to you?

What brand, Model? Home built? Operating system?

The members here have to know these things so we know where to steer you.

Some new computers have the recovery system built into it on a hidden partition. If not you will have a system recovery disk that should have came with the computer. There again if its a manufactured computer.

I'm pretty sure to get to the recovery screen you just boot up the computer with the disc in your CD-ROM drive.

If not then it's probably some big DOS thing which I am not familiar with in the least. I don't even know how to go up a folder in DOS...>_>Thats right,

Put the recovery disk in the CDR tray and re-boot and it will open at the System Recovery PAGE asking you what you want to do.
