I have scanned for SPYWARE, viruses.

dl65 Are you the administratir account? It IS possibel that the administrator blocked you from using the task Manager.... (Only if you have someone ELSE as the administrator) Let us know...

I used the registry editor and changed the value to 0 as you suggested. That did the trick.
By the way...I am the administrator and this was my first TIME in the registry. THANKS again.
