Why the heck is this thread SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wide?

Due To The Script Above I Posted My mouse got red hot from moving sideways...LOLWeird... it looks normal now but when I reply It goes all wide again...I assume, Reply adjusts to the max width of the entire thread, not just one page.Quote from: devil_himself on January 17, 2008, 06:39:34 AM
Open Notepad .. Copy And Paste Everything From the link below. Save As quicklaunch_enable.cmd . And Move It To C:\
http://pastebin.com/fc5de94f

=========================================================
Start > Run > gpedit.msc > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Logon > In The Right Pane > DOUBLE Click on Run These Programs At User Logon > Select Enabled Click Show Inside The Box Next To Items To Run At Logon > Click ADD > At Enter The Item To Be Added Put The Location As C:\quicklaunch_enable.cmd > Ok <> Restart

Note :- Due To The Lack Of Time I Have Written This Script In A Hurry .. You Might Need To Modify It According To Your Needs

Sorry, modified your thread, USERS might have difficulties viewing the page. I moved your code to Pastebin, feel free to re-edit to another location, the forums get a bit difficult to deal with things like this Ahhhh thats better, thanks Zylstra

Devil, I tried that cmd again & this is what I saw:

Is that right?Yes ... It Enables "Show Quick LAUNCH" On My SystemThe only other things I can think of that I have recently done are:

  • Installed uxpatch to enable the use of 3rd party desktop themes
  • Regseeker - cleaned the registry
  • Changed icons in shell32.dll with Reshack
  • Added/removed context menu entries

?Do A "System Restore" Or Try A Repair InstallationSystem restore worked... gone way back in time though so I've now gotta reinstall/remove lots of things - nevermind.

I'm gonna set restor points as I go along to see if I can identify the cause.

If/when I find it I'll let you know for future reference (I've got a feeling it's the UXpatcher).

Thanks again for all your efforts, appreciate it mate.

Speak soon.........3rd party themes....yer gonna be spendin some time here soon.well, themes made on Winstyle...
