|
Answer» My Dell Laptop Inspiron B130 will not boot up. As soon as I turn it on it pops up with a tcp/ip Network Transport Not Installed message, then shortly after it pops up with a sh.loader failed to EXTRACT dump message. I cannot get it to close the MESSAGES or do anything. I cannot even get into the start menu to try to clean things out. HELP!!!What O/S? If XP or Vista, boot from the O/S CD/DVD and use the Repair/Recovery option. (Google Windows XP/Vista Repair/Recovery for more; alternatively provide more details about your system and help will be on hand.)Thank you Rob, for RESPONDING. I am operating on Windows XP. I can't even get it to do anything once that message pops up. Keep trying to get into the start program to try to clean things out & delete My Space IM that my daughter installed. Can't even get that far.... What disc are you referring to?Your Windows XP installation CD (if you have ONE). If not, your computer may have secial recovery software built into it by Dell. Have a look in the handbook. |
