Solve : Temperature?

Answer»

what temperature should my chips be at to be SAFE?
and how many rpm should my fan be doing?

[glb]FireChaser[/glb]FireChaser........Well , you havent given us any info re your "chip" ......are you REFERING to the CPU or the other chips ?
The best way to determine the design perameters for the CPU (if thats what you want ) WOULD be to go to the manufactures site and check the specifications. I would think that if your cpu temp is somewhere between say 35 C and 75 C it's fine ....some chips run even hotter .
As far as the fan rpm is concerned.......which fan are you refering to ......the CPU cooling fan , the PSU cooling fan , the case fans or possibly the cooling fan on the vid card ( if it has one )

let us know

dl65 Click the link below, install Everest and then look up the Processor temperature.i got everest, i just need to know what temps my chips should be at...

my mother board is at 86 C (187 F)

My CPU keeps changing rapidly so i can't tell (sensor problem)

My AUX is at 54 C (129 F)

and my IBM-DTLA-307045 (whatever that is) is at 71 C (160 F)

can u tell me if they are ok temps - u cud maybe compare them to yours....

any help will be appretiated

Is this the abused motherboard running at 86 degrees? OUCH! it is, is that too hot???

how can i cool it down? You have overclocked and abused it no end per your other thread. I am amazed it works at all. (And at those temps, it won't for long! )Let us know when it goes on fire!

Is this with the hair DRYER on or off ? ?

patio. =.= looks like i'm gonna have to get some new fans installed...

thx guys

FireChaser[/glb]What you spend on fans could have been put towards a motherboard that will not spontaneously combust. POOF!!!!
