Answer» I'm so very desperate! I'm currently using Windows XP, trying to run my Vegas Movie Studio program. When I try to open it, I get the FOLLOWING message: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc150002). CLICK on OK to terminate the application. In addition to that, I cannot perform a system restore...I select my restore point and click next, but nothing happens. I am having trouble with opening another program as well, and when I try to uninstall it, the computer locks up. When I try to re-install it, I'm informed that another INSTALLATION is in progress (which it isn't). Can anyone help? I'm trying to complete a DVD slideshow for a friend and I really don't want to dissapoint! Thanks!! Lieslchkdsk /F open an instance of cmd.exe and type that command, let it scan and restart if it has to and SEE if it works after that.
