Solve : The open command in Microsoft Word? |
|
Answer» When I click on the YELLOW folder on the menu bar to open a document, or alternately click on File, then Open, I get a small window showing the documents. Somehow, I hit a WRONG key or two, and now when I use the Open command, I get a full screen version of my documents. I can't determine what I did or how to get it back to NORMAL. Any suggestions?Hit alt+space and then press the R key. This should restore the window to the correct size for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I spent about 3 hours yesterday trying to figure it out. Can you tell me where to find the ANSWER in the help topics? Does that command work with anything else? I'm not sure if that would be in the help topics. It's not a Microsoft Word specific shortcut. That shortcut will work with resizing almost any window. If you hit alt+space and then wait you will see a list drop down in the upper left of the window. That's where you can find the different options of what you can do to that window.Thank you again. You've been extremely HELPFUL. Thank heavens for these forums. I have had more help from these than any manual, on line or otherwise. You're more than welcome. That's what these forums are here for. |
