Answer» I recently was looking at WINDOWS Firewall in Control PANEL, and it says at the top:
"For your security, some settings are controlled by Group Policy."
I can't even start the PC Tools Firewall Plus service. It just returns "Error 5: Access is Denied."
Would it be safe to delete the 'WindowsFirewall' key in the registry? Help!Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe Navigate to the following LOCATION: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Policies \ MICROSOFT \ WindowsFirewall
Backup the key and then delete the WindowsFirewall branch. Close Regedit.exe and restart Windows.
BecarefulOkay, will do that.
Thank you.
