Answer» I was trying my first attempt at backing-up my PC files to a zip DRIVE source, but loaded all the back-up files back onto my {only} hard drive:C, not {compressed}! {How do I SAFELY REMOVE the 1,112,000GB of back-up files off my hard drive to save drive SPACE!}} NOTE A: PC/ 98'dell dimension L400c desktop/ 98 windows 98se/ Total max Drive C: 4,000,000GB/ NoteB: I did successfully download my back-up files to my Zip drive disc's the second attempt! THANKS!I am afraid I don't fully understand what is happening. but loaded {all} the back-up files back on to my Drive C: !That makes sense, since you tried to "back-up" with the zip drive as the source. We haven't been informed of what backup application you're using, but you "back-up" by getting the files onto the ZIP disk. (that is, the hard drive as the source, the ZIP drive as the target). I'll assume that you actually have 2,400,000 bytes not gigabytes, (on account of your OS), backing up your entire ({full} ) C: drive would require around 200 zip disks at 100MB each(unless it actually isn't a ZIP drive but rather your using ZIP drive as a blanket term for removable mass storage). |
