Its a white rectangular box about an inch wide and 5"' high that pops out from a narrow white bar along the left margin of the screen. COMES up whenever the cursor comes near it. It accesses the webcam.Okay. Download & run Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml). Look on all tabs for a startup item that relates to the webcam and uncheck it. Then reboot.
