Solve : Triple booting and 2 OS's on one partition? |
|
Answer» Hi, Q 1)Does anyone know if it is possible to triple boot windows OS's , if so how? Load them on separate partitions, with the oldest one first. Windows 95,98,ME must go on the first partition of the first logical drive. Quote Q2) Is it possible for 2 OS's to co-exist on 1 logical partition, please explain No reason to try, and lots of ways to get problems. If you format them all as FAT32 and instal Windows #2 and #3 as logical DRIVES on an extended partition, each will be able to see the data of the others. Or ideally creat a 4th partition (FAT32) that they can all ACCESS, just for data.Akmed: I have one system that has MS-DOS 6.22, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional. I am able to boot to any of the above operating systems on the computer without any third party boot manager. What operating systems do you want to install? Doc |
