Using Windows XP. SP2 and Office 2003
When I try to open a .pdf email attachment or other files, it opens in Notebook. That produces jibberish and Wingdings. I have to save the email attachments and then to open it, take the option to "Open with Adobe Reader in order to read it. How can I get the system to recognise .pdf and automatically open the .pdf files with Adobe Reader?Save pdf file to your COMPUTER. RIGHT click on the file, click Open with, select Acrobat Reader from the list. Put checkmark into "Always open....", and you'll be GOOD to go.Then after that switch to Foxit...
