Solve : Trouble with boot?

ok, heres what i did......i clicked on "Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)
" then saved to drive. (it was a zip file, named memtest86+-2.11.iso sized 52kb). i unziped the file and got another zip file (named memetest86+-2.11 sized 1796kb). what i missed was it popped up as where i saved it before (DUH) lol.....sorry guys. i dont have a cdrw here....will try on tues at work and let you know......thanks
Keep us posted...OK.....ran memtest on ORIGINAL memory (256k) got NUMEROUS errors......shut down the REPLACED with the new 1gig memory stick and reran memtest. got numerous errors on new stick. any ideas now. Thanks
Did you try different SLOTS?
If so, I suspect, you MAY have some motherboard problem.i tried different slots....still the same thing. maybe time to replace motherboard. how can i tell what it it?You can't, unless you bring it to a computer shop for a pro check.
