thanx for your helpDrGt, using just your Windows XP Pro cd you can erase a partition and recreate it, and also format it. It will be formated automatically if you indicate the destination partition of Windows XP the new created partition. The only condition is to SET the boot order in BIOS correctly (I mean boot from cd should be enabled and also it should ocure before the option to boot from hdd). Tell us if you solved your problem.no im not sure what u mean, im not that great with computers but i did go to the bios and looked for the boot from cd option but it werent on their Boot SEQUENCE then? First boot device, second boot device? There should be SOMETHING like that, I have seen no BIOS WITHOUT these settings...yeah i can see whta u mean now, the next problem is that the windows pro cd i have is not retail, its a copy and isnt a system boot disc, do u think i cud get the data off the copy'd disk and make a system disc with nero?DrGt........
