Answer» I have an HP Pavillion (DESKTOP) computer running Windows Vista, 1 GB RAM, Not SURE what the processor is. I have been trying to USE the sleep mode instead of shutting down the computer, but it will only sleep for a few SECONDS and then returns to full operating power. I can't seem to find anything in Help to deal with this. I have tried fiddling around in Control Panel but I don't know my way around Vista well enough yet. Can anyone help me figure this out? Have you installed a new program?I just shut off the option that allows network connections to wake up the computer and that did the trick.
