Answer» I have a subfolder entitled MP3 which holds all the music that I have in my Itunes folder in no particular order. There a few thousand TITLES in there and what I WANT to do is PUT them in alphabetical order by artist and SAVE them to a new folder called MP3alpha. When I sort it alphabetically from the MP3 folder and copy to the MP3 alpha, it copies it without the sort (in the original format). I am simply opening the MP3 and displaying ARTIST and then sorting. How do I get this to work properly? Thanks so much!With Windows Explorer you have to sort each time (which certainly is not a big deal). There are Explorer replacements that will "remember" individual folder SETTINGS. I use Directory Opus. It is NOT cheap, but it IS great.You are trying to get it to be in alphabetical order in terms of the artist? Click on the Artist label, and they should sort.
