I have a new HP laptop (w/VISTA Home Prem) & the software for my older M415 HP camera wouldn't run, so HP SOLD me a CD "HP Photosmart Essential S/Ware for Vista. When I try to run this s/ware I get an error message as follows ...
This sys does not meet one or more of the min requirements needed to install this product.
This s/ware can not be installed using the run as ... command. The install can not continue ...
Log off & then log on as a user w/administrative priviledges. (Contact your sys admin. for more information. If there is no sys admin. have the PRIMARY user of this computer install the s/ware. Restart the linstall by removing & re-inserting the CD.
Hey ... I am the primary user, the sys administrator so why won't the CD from HP run? I have tried the HP technical help people several TIMES & they have the same answer every time ... download the program. When I try this the download stops every time. I would appreciate an answer to this problem or at least pointed to a source for an answer as HP has not helped me on this one. Thanks
