Answer» I have win 7. and I turned off the Visual Effects in the Advanced Options and all works good and looks good.
I put a check in the last 4. Box and unchecked everything.
But now there is on thing that I lost.
When you put the Mouse over a Dropdown Menu and go down the list every Item that the Mouse did go on in any Menu would be HIGHLIGHTED Blue or whatever color.
How do I just turn this on?I am very sorry I do not think I told everything in the right way in my Post.
I have Win7. Home 64 Bit and 4. GB of RAM and a Dual Core AMD Athlone CPU.
I want to stop some of the Visaul Effects from RUNNING in Win7. because I don't need them.
So I Right click My Computer then click Properties then click Advanced System Settings.
Then I click the Advanced Tab and on this screen were it says Performance I go to the right of it and click Settings Tab.
On this screen I put a Dot in the Box that says Custtom.
Then I Un Check the things I don't need or wont.
I only keep and want the lest 4. Options so I keep the last 4. Box checked.
I click Apply and then Ok then Log Off then Log On.
When I go back into the same place to check the settings it has just the last 2. with a check in the Box.
And this happens even if I pick say the first 3. Options or every other Option.
It wont keep my settings I pick.
I am under an account woith Administrator rights and it sould work. But I wander if I sould be in the Real Administrator Account.
Please HELP and I don't KNOW if this matters but I hyave my win7. set to Basic Style
