I have had an identical problem with a Canoscan LIDE 25. and now I'm stuck at the same 'select source' box being empty. I followed the steps given by 'hartbeatmr'. They made sense and crucially the bit about downloading and applying the Canon driver deletion utility. All indications appear normal, like device manager, scanner GRUNTING on plug-in, and no error indications. If Edna tells me what the tweak was I would be glad. |
