Answer» I have two operating systems in my laptop. One is Windows XP Home Edition and the other is Windows XP Professional. I want to erase the Home Edition without harming the Professional files.
How can I do this?
Thanks Depends on how it was ORIGINALLY setup and installed so as you can GUESS we'll NEED alot more INFO...I used my desktop operating disk to install it in the laptop. Both the laptop and the desktop are from Gateway.
The problem started when I got about 18 trojan viruses. I did a recovery that came with the laptop. But I thought I lost everything (including the XP Professional OS) but I didn't. Now when I boot my laptop, a boot menu comes up and I have to choose which operating system. I want to eliminate the XP Home Edition. Additionally, I get a message that the hard drive is full. I believe the XP Home Edition is taking me disk space, which I had prior to the viruses attack.
Thanks
