Solve : Unable to access Sign-In pages? |
|
Answer» I'll jump right in: I am able to access the internet, but when I click on the sign on button for a service such as eBay, Yahoo e-mail, PayPal, and others I am unable to connect to the sign-on page. I get the standard page SAYING the site is unavailable. This happens REGARDLESS of wether I use IE2 or MOZILLA. I am guessing that the problem resides with a setting on my computer. Perhaps I, in my ignorance, changed a setting preventing my computer from sharing needed information with these sign-in pages which in turn prompts them to disallow the connection...? Anyone have any ideas. Please respond here as I am unable to sign in to my e-mail account or ANYTHING else.... Thanks for your help.Exactly what does the "standard page" say?Tools>Internet Options>Settings Click on "every visit to the page" Then OK >OK. Then delete all history, cookies, and Temporary Internet files, including Offline Content. Then try again. HAPPENED to me.MSN support responded within 1 hour with this suggestion. |
