I have MS XP operating system. Currently, when I try to utilize Windows MEDIA Player, the tab shows up on the TASKBAR but I am unable to view the player, though I can HEAR the sound. When I right click the taskbar tab and minimize Windows Media Player, the program seems to be coming from the right side of my monitor but offscreen. If I right click the tab and try to move the program, the mouse cursor disappears from the screen and as I hold the left mouse BUTTON down and drag to my left, a 4 way cursor comes on to the screen from the right but without the Windows Media Player. Why is this happening and what do I do to correct it

I also noticed that the mouse cursor will deadend at the top and left side of my display screen before going off the screen. It will go just past the screen view and out of sight on the bottom portion of the display. But the cursor seems to go for some distance past the viewing area of the display on the right side of the display screen.
