Answer» My vista has been working fine until yesterday there was an update that installed my computer auto installed it and RESTARTED after this it seemed to work ok. When I tried to boot computer up now it goes past the bios page then blue screen shows for 2 SECS and restarts. I have tried a repair and did not work I tried to go into safe mode but it also has the same blue screen I have recovery switched off so cant use this either! any ideas to how to get this solved I am able to slave the drive and access it this way?Do you have your installer disk? The repair I used does find an error on start up but cant fix I shall try this way and get back.This over the top install should fix the issue.Just an update on this. I did what you said to try and it still had the same issue. I create a BartPE cd and managed to access the computer and removed the windows update that was installed I forgot to take note of this but this cleared the issue windows vista ultimate backup and working thanks for your help Good job
