Answer» My computer is a dell gx60with Windows 2000 PRO SP4 and Microsoft Office 2003 Pro. I have no option to SAVE AS jpeg, jpg, gif formats in Ms Paint. I have done a FULL install of Windows 2000 Pro, and FULL install of Microsoft Office 2003 Pro. The only SAVE AS options that I get in Ms Paint are BitMap formats. On another computer that I have, I installed the same Microsoft Windows 2000 Pro, and Microsoft Office 2000 Pro, and I get all the options: BitMap, Jpeg, Jpg, GIF and some other options too. Can someone please help me? I really would like to keep the Office 2003 Pro. Is it possible that with Office 2003, the Jpeg, Jpg, Gif options are not available? If you have or get Irfanview - a freebie and very useful even as a viewer - you could open a saved BMP in that and save then to what you want - delete BMP after use if so desired. This launches System File Checker which will repair/replace any corrupt Windows files. Have your Win2K CD handy...it will ask for it. When it finishes remove the CD and re-boot.
