I am still not sure if I have downloaded the windows installer is there any way I can check this. The microsoft support page is not clear to me and I am not sure how to download the installer I have also asked the question before in the above posting, as far as I know I followed the download procedure for the windows installer. I have opened " Add or Remove Programs " and I am seeing " windows installer 3.1 (KB893803) " listed in currenly installed programs, so I am assuming "windows installer" is installed. thanks for the help When you DLoad a file where are they saved to ? ? The Desktop is most common... Find the Windows installer fix file you DLoaded and double clik it and it should install itself. You may want to re-boot after...Hi Patio I am searching my desktop and I can not see any windows installer icon anywhere, the only place I can see windows installer 3.1(KB893803) is in the add/ remove programs listed in the "currently installed programs." |
