Solve : Undeleteable File with No Tag?

I just randomly got a 4 files on my desktop with no tag and are 0 bytes in size but I cannot delete them. Thats right: NO TAG. The files can't even open with anything and I can't replace them with anything because its impossible to CREATE a file with no tag. What do I do here?!

p.s. theyre not viruses because i have total protection and theres nuthin wrong with my computer.

benWhat operating system are you running? this is an error with xp that I KNOW but has been FIXED with a patch a long while back, simply UPDATING windows would fix it. Quote
