Solve : Unknown web sites in Internet Explorer History!? |
|
Answer» Tonight while browsing the 'net using IE7, I opened my History pane and was amazed to find listed a selection of Web addresses that I had definately NOT VISITED....mostly GERMAN and Spanish sites relating to mostly search engines and web space! My first thought was that someone had hacked my PC and used my IP to access these sites. But why bother? I'm in the UK Me too. And what's your protection again? Have a read through a few of these threads and you'll see loads of great protection software, and it's all at internet price (read:free).get Ccleaner and run the scan to clean out junk files if your using xp me or 2000Quote from: Onslow on May 09, 2007, 04:22:26 PM I have an up to date Norton Internet Security with all points covered and Norton Anti Virus. There's your problem. Download AVG Anti-Spyware, update it and run a full scan in Safe Mode. Let us know what the results are. And you might want to remove your e-mail address. Unless you like spambots and *censored*.spybot search and destroy too its good at getting redirects and hijackers P.S. i just sallowed a sunflower seed is that goodQuote from: unlovedwarrior on May 10, 2007, 08:41:18 AM P.S. i just sallowed a sunflower seed is that good HI-JACKING *censored*!!! And to answer: Meh. It's neither here nor there. I mean people eat them, and what's the difference between chewing and not, once it hits the pH1 stomach acid? Not a lot on something the size of a sunflower seed. If you meant, will we give you Pimp Points? No. Most categorically not.hijacking lol you dont know what hijacking is.... i only added something lil off topic hijacking is where you try to take the whole topic from the OP and make it your own.....Quote from: unlovedwarrior on May 10, 2007, 08:37:36 PM hijacking lol you dont know what hijacking is.... Is this the "complaint" I apparently made? I think I'm gonna change my SIGNATURE... But for future reference, please be aware that anything I type is liable to have vast amounts of sarcasm sewn into it's very fabric of being. Especially when using CAPS. Sheesh.Quote from: unlovedwarrior on May 11, 2007, 12:34:02 PM im dont really know how to draw the line between sarcasm and true words so i just take offense youll learn that if you stay around long enoughWhat does that mean in ENGLISH? Take your time, use the Shift key for capitals, use spellcheck, etc. Organize your thoughts........It means I dont know how to determine if its sarcasm or not.Quote from: unlovedwarrior on May 11, 2007, 01:22:07 PM It means I dont know how to determine if its sarcasm or not. The longer you stick around with me, the better you'll get, and then, sometime soon, you'll say something witty to someone and they'll think you're funny. Then we'll all be in trouble, because once you find out that people actually like wit related humour, you'll be unstoppable. |
