Answer» I have unlocker installed on my right mouse button. On almost all my files or folder I right click on I can SEE and use the unlocker button. Yesterday, I noticed that when I click on any file in the Temporary files folder, the unlocker button is gone. Has this ever happened to anyone else? What location of temp folder? Windows version?Windows XP SP3 I've ATTACHED two pictures. I hope they will explain what I'm writing about.

[recovering disk space -- attachment deleted by admin]This is very good question, and I can only GUESS the answer. I don't know, if this is correct answer. Temporary Internet Files folder is the cache for IE. I suspect, Unlocker may not treat them as real files, since in FACT they are just copies of web pages, you visit. I looked for any contact at Unlocker web page (to ASK a question), but I couldn't find any.Why would there be a need to use Unlocker on these files anyways ? ? I believe Broni's suspicions are correct though.I was just curious as to why this was the only folder where the unlocker had disappeared.Because it's a Temp folder...EDIT: If it isn't a Windows file then it is 'seen' differently by Unlocker. If you chose Delete and it was locked you would then get this.

Folder/file doesn't have to be locked for Unlocker to show up under right click menu (post #3)
I's one of those that's clear in my head but explaining it is tough since I don't know the right terms to use. It depends on where and what the file is on how Windows "sees" it. It's no biggie. I was just curious. I guess the answer is that it's a temp folder.Don't worry, Dave. I provided my guess, but I'm still curious, too.
