Answer» Heya,
Getting the BSOD - Unmountable_Boot_Volume... STOP: 0x0000000ED (0x86D6SA88, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).
Having searched on google, it says just repair windows XP...
Now, the tricky part...
So I place in the windows XP CD, PRESS R, then it tells me it can't FIND the hard drive?!
Having gone into the BIOS - it doesn't recognise any onboard IDE Drives but recognises by 160gb Sata (?) drive...
Any help would be greatly recieved..
Sush. The important details needed are your hardware setup and what happened PRIOR to this.Nothing NEW installed... Nothing wrong prior to turning computer off.
As for hardware setup.. Bit of a novice, what would you like to know? It's a Dell Dimesion.. SATA internal storage.. Haven't changed anything... ?Reset your NVRAM. From the F2 setup screen, TURN on Caps Lock, Scroll Lock and Num Lock. Then hold down Alt and hold in e until it starts to beep. It will beep 5-6 times, Then reboot and see what happens. You have 1 or 2 IDE devices? That commmand doesn't appear to work?..You have all 3 keyboard lights lit and holding down Alt + E does nothing? What MODEL Dimension?Correct, nothing happens... Dimension 9150....
Thanks for trying to help by the way.. Much appreciated
