Unusual Shortcut Behavior

Problem with existing desktop shortcut on Windows XP desktop.

If I right click on HP share to web shortcut computer FREEZE up.
Do not get this behavior when I right click any other desktop shortcut.

I don't think this problem is related to the CONTEXT menu.

When I run "regedit" and GO to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
DRIVE
SHELL ex
Context Menu Handlers
I don't see any HP related items.

I no longer use this shortcut, but the HP program is still installed on this computer.
All I REALLY want to do is remove the shortcut from my desktop.

When I go to "my computer_desktop" I don't see the shortcut in that folder either.
Try this,

Go to Start -> All Programs -> HP Share-to-Web, click on HP Share-to-Web Wizard.
Click NEXT ...until you come to the screen that asks if you want the desktop icon - choose NO and then click FINISH.Thanks zep516.

Those instructions were PULLED from another website, glad they worked. Several users had the same issue those instructions worked for both users.
