Solve : update bios trouble?

i have a hp compaq cq50-wm139 and my bios is f.02 and the update is f.52a when i try to update it from hp download site all it does is start and then freezes up.and stays that way untill i remove power source and restart and everything still the same. i told hp but they just keep tellimg to go to there web site and download there update which i told them i have tried a bunch of times but it just wont work, itried to flash it with a ubs in dos mode but this is what i get( initializing file load 100 %,current bios model name 360B,NEW bios model name D5AS,current bios version :f.02,new bios version : f.52,protection:the new rom file is not match this platform,error: the new image file is not support flash utility) and i no it the right update, here is info about lap,hp compacq cq50-wm139,BIOS Type: Wistron,BIOS ID: F.02,BIOS Vendor: Hewlett-Packard,BIOS Version: F.02,Chipset: Intel 2A40 rev 7,Motherboard Name: Hewlett-Packard,Motherboard Model: Compaq Presario Notebook PC CQ50,System Name: Wistron,System Model: Chassis Version,Base MANUFACTURER: Wistron ,Base Product: 360B, 
i was wonderen if some 1 out there might have any other way or ideals ,thanks in advance alotUnless you are experienced with computers I would advise you not to flash your BIOS I assume that's what your trying to do.You could do unrepairable damage. If you MUST flash the BIOS take it to a reputable engineer who knows what they are doing. I am an engineer and have had so many units in where customers have done what you are trying to do.
If you are just trying to update the software that should not be a problem. Download the zip files into a folder and open them find the install files on each and  CLICK them and follow the instructions. Just make sure you have the right download for your model




Good LuckAre you sure you got the right update? To me f.52a suggests a fith gen BIOS. Seriously agree with mrrigga, take to a repair shop. One bad flash can render your mobo inopperable
