Answer» HI, im having problems trying to install sp2 and update my windows .Problem started when i had too download sp1 on another pc then transfer it to my pc because wireless internet wont work without sp1 ,now when i go into updates a few wont install and fail ,i downloaded sp2 and it dosnt seem to work in the end , can sumone help me out please.try this http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Dial-a-fix-Download-27328.html its dail a fix there is a section for windows update http://www.timeatlas.com/mos/images/stories/dial1.png check the box that says fix windows update and press go follow instructions and restart and try to install the updates hey i ran the dial a fix and i get error 127 qmgr.dll is CORRUPTED or unregisterable . I recently formated and downloaded sp1 from www.filewatch.com was UNABLE to FIND it anywere file is xpsp1a_en_x86.exe maybe its corrupted the updates that fail are Update for BACKGROUND Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 (KB842773) WinHTTP 5.1 (KB842773)woops i posted message in wrong place sorry .
