Answer» Hi , me again. A year ago I had the folowing problem : The PC stayed turned on for about 13 HOURS and had downloaded 72 updates So I turned it off my PC with installing the additional updates. While that proces was on I saw the PC had crashed on update 32 and for 5 minutes stayed on a freezed screen with a non blinking yellow ligh (LOADING indicator), restarted it , and then since the .dll file changeing wasn't fully completed guess what: It started up perfectly to the desktop , but I couldn't click on any Icons , or start them up.
So anyway, The PC whent for repair , and we GOT it in 3 days with a brand new XP.
Right now , my AutomaticUpdates are off , but some programs require a fully updated Windows. If I sometimes need to turn the updates on , tell me a way to prevent this CRASH in the future.
Your best bet is to install updates one-by-one.WOW ! ThanX ! How didn't i think of that...
