I am running win xp pro

Every say 20 Min. I look down at my Clock and see the Little Icone that TELLS me Update are readdy to be installed so I CLICK it and itstall it.

The update it is installing is

SECURITY UPDATE FOR MICROSOFT XML CORE SERVICES 6.0 SERVICE PACK 2.
KB954459

And I click install and it does it and a window comes up saying Instalation was sacsesfily compleated.
And I SHUT down like it says and restart and all is good.

Then say 20 Min go by I see the icone that says Updates are readdy to be installed.

So I click on it and it is the SAME updates.

I have bean doing this now for say a weak and it wont stop.
What is going on??In Internet Explorer click on Tools - Windows Update

Run it from an Explorer window and then see if it sticks.A fue weeks ago I whent to Ad REMOVE Programs and then Ad Remove Windows Components.

And I Un Installed Internet Explorer.

Do I have to put it back be for I try what you told me??

As far as I know eeven if you go to Un Install Windows Compontents and Remove Internnet Explorer it is still installed.

Am I right??Yes it's still installed and yes you should re-enable it.
