Answer» I bought a used computer from work and wanted to install WINDOWS XP Pro. The used computer is running Windows NT and still has the old logon names and passwords. No one at work know the old password. Any idea how I can get passed this?The best way would be to get the Administrator to log on and re-set the password. This usually forces the computer to go into setup. You can also take the battery out for about 2 hours and it will erase the password. When you go into the cmos settings LET it load the default settings.
