Solve : USB expert is needed?

Answer»

Hi everyone :

I have window XP , my PC has two USB ports , I use one for connecting my removable driver , and the other to CONNECT my Nokia mobile phone cable , i used to be able to start a communication between the PC and the mobile phone as soon as I PLUG in the USB cable ,a message : " a new hardware is found " and the installation starts automatically then I'm able to start the communication .

But.. sometime I GET a message saying that my computer can not recognize the device .. when that happen i do this :
1 . i unplug the USB cable and plug it again , if this doesn't work :
2 . i restart my computer. ..doesn't work..
3 . i go to the device manager and uninstall the device to be reinstalled again automatically . usually one of them work, but this time none of them work !

by the way in my device manager i have an exclamation mark on the ( PCI ) simple communications controller , if that helps .
I'm tired of these USB issues , WHENEVER i want to transfer something from my PC to my mobile i have a HARD time . can you help me please .do you have a PC suit for your moble phone?Remove and re-install the Nokia phone driver.of course I have Nokia PC suit installed , it isn't the first time , I transferred many things before , it was working .Quote

First time what? This isn't the first time you've had this problem?

This may be the problem here.
Can you give us any more information on it?I mean : I have transferred things between my mobile phone and my PC before , every thing was great . i think it is the driver , an error occurred during the installation ..or something ... or may be something wrong with the controller ...which i don't know what is it exactly I'm so helpless

as I said , I have two USB ports , is it OK to mix between them ? or should I use the same one for the mobile , and the other for the removable disk ??Can you reinstall the driver then? (from the cd that came with it)Quote

Try re-installing your MBoard chipset drivers and re-boot.
Also go to Start/Run and type services.msc and hit Enter...
Make sure the Human Interface Device service is enabled and re-boot.finally.... it worked ....thanks for all of you .Congratulations!

What did you do?
