Solve : USB ports aren't being recognized? |

Answer» I've got an HP Pavilion Media Center PC m8100n with Windows Vista. We've had it for several months now but a few days ago it suddenly just stopped recognizing any of the USB ports in both the front and the BACK. I have no idea what happened but I can't access any of my files in my external drive, flash drives, my printer, or HOOK up my iPod. It doesn't SAY that there are any problems with them when I go to my DEVICE MANAGER. Any suggestions on what I should do or what the problem is? Thanks!Try this: Go to Device Manager, remove all USB Root Hubs and reboot the PC. Windows will 'find' the USB hubs and re-install the drivers. |
