Answer» i have a simple, stupid question. k i'm the only one who ever uses my computer, but just a few days AGO it started making me click on my user name picture THING when i restart or something. why did it all of a sudden start requiring me to do this? even thought it sounds like no BIG deal, i think it's kind of annoying. what can i do to make it not do that anymore? thanks for any help. scott........Well , I'm not sure , something has changed your settings. Have you visited the MS update page recently or received any auto-up dates from M/S ...... Go into the control panel and OPEN "USER ACCOUNTS" then click on "Change how user logs in or out " Hopefully that will resolve your issue. dl65
